LP8864EVM LED Driver Evaluation Module (EVM)

Texas Instruments LP8864EVM LED Driver Evaluation Module (EVM) helps designers evaluate the characteristics, operation, and performance of the LP8864(S)-Q1. The LP8864(S)-Q1 is a 4-channel high-efficiency LED driver for automotive display LED backlighting. The Texas Instruments LP8864(S)-Q1 integrates a boost or SEPIC controller and four high-precision current sinks. The boost controller has adaptive output voltage control based on the headroom voltages of the LED current sinks. The four current sinks support phase shifting that is automatically adjusted based on the number of channels in use. LED brightness can be controlled through the I²C interface or PWM input. The product also supports extensive fault detection features.

31FL323x LED Lighting Development Boards

ISSI 31FL323x LED Lighting Development Boards are development tools that evaluate ISSI multi-channel LED drivers. LED drivers are electrical circuits used to power light-emitting diodes. The IS31FL3236 / IS31FL3236A drivers comprise 36x constant current channels, each with independent PWM control and designed for driving LEDs. The output current of each channel can be set at up to 38mA (max.) by an external resistor and independently scaled by a factor of 1, 1/2, 1/3, and 1/4. The average LED current of each channel can be changed in 256x steps by changing the PWM duty cycle through an I²C interface.
