ISSI IS32LT3175N/P Single-Channel Linear LED Drivers come with fade in/out and PWM dimming. The regulators serve as a stand-alone LED driver-configurable from 20mA to 150mA with external resistors, no microcontroller is necessary. A logic level “courtesy light” signal from the PWM pin can be interfaced to precisely drive the LED channel. The IS32LT3175P obtains a positive polarity PWM signal. In addition, the IS32LT3175N obtains a negative polarity PWM signal. The regulator integrates a 63-step fade-in and fades out the algorithm (Gamma correction). This causes the output LED current to increasingly rise up to the full source value after the EN pin is pulsed.

Texas Instruments LM3402/LM3402HV Constant Current Buck Regulators are monolithic switching regulators designed to deliver constant currents to high-power LEDs. Ideal for automotive, industrial, and general lighting applications, they contain a high-side N-channel MOSFET switch with a current limit of 735mA for step-down (Buck) regulators. Hysteretic control with controlled on-time is coupled with an external resistor. This allows the converter output voltage to adjust as needed to deliver a constant current to series and series – parallel-connected arrays of LEDs. They can be of varying number and type, LED dimming by pulse width modulation (PWM) or broken/open LED protection. Low-power shutdown and thermal shutdown complete the feature set available with this device.
